Business Process Reengineering Analyst

Scope of Work:

Capio Group is looking for a Business Process Reengineering Analyst to work as part of the team to provide the client with consulting services to conduct a business process reengineering analysis and tool assessment on the client’s existing Pay Letter process.
The goal of the assessment is to identify opportunities to streamline and optimize the salary drills, and the approval of the drills through the Pay Letter process for efficiency and timeliness. The assessment shall include an analysis of the existing processes and tools used to develop the drills and create and issue a Pay Letter. The consultant shall use the analysis results to identify and recommend the Pay Letter drills and process and tool (technology) improvements that will result in optimal Pay Letter processing efficiency. The proposed solution or solution assessment must involve all applicable business/program stakeholders and subject matter experts and be compatible with the client’s IT infrastructure. The team must also develop an implementation plan including organizational change management considerations that the client can execute to move from the current state to the optimal state.
Tasks including but not limited to:

  • Project Reporting
  • Business Process Reengineering (BPR) Plan
  • Existing Process Assessment
  • To-Be Processes Assessment and Recommendation
  • High-Level Technology/Solutions Assessment
  • Implementation of BPR Processes

Mandatory Experience:

  1. Within the past ten (10) years, must have Three (3) years’ experience analyzing business processes and procedures to identify inefficiencies and optimization opportunities focused on optimal throughput.
  2. Within the past ten (10) years, must have Three (3) years’ experience developing as-is and to-be business process models and identifying gaps between the two models.
  3. Within the past ten (10) years, must have Three (3) years’ experience developing implementation plans to transition program staff from the as-is state to the optimal to-be state.
  4. Within the past ten (10) years, must have Three (3) years’ experience authoring complex reports and technical documents, and documenting lessons learned for business process reengineering projects.

Mandatory Experience:

  1. Within the past ten (10) years, must have Five (5) years of demonstrated experience monitoring the project performance of an IT Project throughout the project lifecycle to include updating and maintaining project plans, such as: schedule, quality, risks, scope, governance, requirement, contract management, project management, and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  2. Requires a minimum of five (5) years of broad, extensive and increasingly
    responsible Project Manager project experience applying project management principles,
    methods, techniques, and tools. At least three (3) years of that experience must have been
    in a lead capacity.
  3. Must possess a bachelor’s degree. A copy of the diploma must be provided upon request.
    Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-
    for-year basis. 
  4. Must possess a valid Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI). A copy of the certificate must be provided upon request.
    The PMP certification is required and may not be substituted with additional experience.

Sr. Data Engineer

The Senior Data Engineer will work as part of a team to provide Data Cleanup & Migration Services for the client’s legacy system .The Engineer should have knowledge and experience in data cleanup, and migration services consisting of data profiling, data cleansing, data standardization, and data transformation to assist the client in successfully extracting data from the legacy system for data migration into the target database.

Tasks including but not limited to:

  • Data Integration Plan and Schedule
  • Data Profiling, Standardization and Cleansing
  • Data Transformation
  • Data Load
  • Post-Implementation / Go-Live Data Quality Reporting
  • Knowledge Transfer and Lessons Learned

Mandatory Experience:

  1. Within the last 10 years, must have a minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience in authoring and monitoring data pipelines.
  2. Must possess bachelor’s or advanced degree (master’s or PhD) in computer science, engineering, information systems, math, or technology-related field. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis. Successful completion of a data engineering bootcamp plus an additional year of experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
  3. Within the last 10 years, at least five (5) years of experience on projects performing data migration duties with at least three (3) years of experience serving in a lead role designing solutions for projects converting records from a legacy system of similar database size, over fifty (50) gigabytes (GB) like the legacy NAP database in Oracle, into one consolidated database not limited to data profiling, cleansing, transforming, and loading records.
  4. Within the last 10 years, at least five (5) years of experience developing and executing data conversion and transformation effort strategies, including establishing rules, dependencies, and acceptance criteria for large-scale transformation efforts.
  5. Within the last 10 years, at least five (5) years of experience with data conversion, data quality and data migration development, testing, and execution utilizing Database Management System (DBMS) and ETL tools and technologies for structured and unstructured content such as Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, Experian Pandora, and Aperture Data Studio.

Desirable Experience :

  1. Experience in preparing a long-term Data Integration Plan involving data migration between SQL Server and Oracle systems.
  2. ​​​​​​​Background in maximizing security with regard to PII data and encryption during data migration cleansing, data loading and validation.
  3. Familiarity with Microsoft Project.

Desirable Experience :

  1. Strong background in data profiling, mapping, cleansing and extraction.

Scope of Work:

Capio Group is looking for a Software Developer to work as part of a system integration team to provide solution implementation, software licensing and maintenance, and optional post-implementation services for the Client. 
The team will develop and implement a Salesforce solution that will replace the client’s existing thirty-one (31) existing program area applications (primarily Microsoft .NET), which often supports overlapping functions, each with its own interfaces and unique outputs. The solution must eliminate the manual effort to process Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) for a number of program applications while continuing to electronically process the $1.5 billion annually (and 100,000 transactions per year) for the fund  which is currently managed via Oracle E-Business Suite. 
The implementation services include all the work required to prepare, modify, and configure the solution to meet solution requirements including the preparation and loading of data, system testing, applicable training, organizational change management, go-live and post-go-live support.

The Software Developer has overall responsibilities for solution development in alignment with the functional requirements, business needs, and design documentation. Specific tasks including but not limited to:

  • Works under the direction of the Solution Architect and the Project Manager.
  • Develop software for the solution. 
  • Implements quality assurance processes for solution development in alignment with all testing plans.

Mandatory Experience:

  1. Within the  last 15 years, served in a lead role on a complex IT project(s) for five (5) years with a contract value of at least ten-million ($10M) dollars.
  2. Within the  last 15 years,  served in a lead role on a complex IT project(s) with a contract value of at least ten-million ($10M) for two (2) years developing and configuring solutions requiring integration of two (2) or more cloud-based SaaS solutions/modules.
  3. Within the  last 15 years, served in a lead role on a complex IT project(s) with a contract value of at least ten-million ($10M) for two (2) years that involved interfacing with a cloud-based SaaS solution(s) with two (2) or more existing systems.
  4. Within the  last 15 years, served in a lead role on a complex IT project(s) with a contract value of at least ten-million ($10M) for two (2) years developing technical system documentation and providing knowledge transfer support to client IT staff.
  5. Within the  last 15 years, served in a lead role on a complex IT project(s) with a contract value of at least ten-million ($10M) for two (2) years on a Salesforce solution. 
  6. Must be able to provide references for all projects used to meet the Mandatory and Desirable Qualifications.

Desirable Experience :

  1. Within the  last 15 years, served in a lead role on a complex information technology (IT) project(s) with a contract value of at least ten million ($10M) developing financial solutions that interact with the Financial Information System for California (FI$Cal) for one (1) year.
