Business Solutions Analyst

Sacramento, CA

Capio Group is looking for an experienced Business Solutions Analyst.

Scope of Work:

The Business Solutions Analyst will work as part of a team to assist our client on their recently replaced legacy online customer login portal with enhancement  and maintenance and operations services. 
These enhancements require the Capio Group team to work with client leadership, business stakeholders, technical staff, and additional external systems integrators. The team will provide consulting services on the Portal that include technical analysis and design, system integration, and system development that provide the following three (3) Epics:

  • Enhanced User Administration: Enhance user administration functions for the client staff to more effectively provide customer support.
  • Claim Intake Navigator: Implement an intuitive claims intake navigator which will prompt customers with dynamic sorting questions to guide them to specific client services.
  • Enhanced Data Analytics and Reporting Capabilities: Enable client staff to provide enhanced customer service Portal reporting by implementing Portal usage analytics, data aggregation and reporting, and expanding analytics capabilities to include the current Portal platform analytic system.

The Portal utilizes the Salesforce platform to manage customers’ online accounts, including functions such as user registration, login, password reset, and multi-factor authentication. The Portal is available to customers in English and Spanish and integrates with a number of different client legacy systems and web services. "Legacy System" refers to the .NET and Java solutions built by the client that integrate with the Portal. The Portal also integrates with Akamai web security service, Red Hat API Management service, and Okta Identity Management service.
The Business Solution Analyst’s responsibilities include working with stakeholders to develop requirements, requirement acceptance criteria, solution documentation, and participating in all phases of the project.

Mandatory Experience:

  1. Within the last 12 years, a minimum four (4) years of Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) experience as a Business Solution Analyst applying analytical processes on an IT project.
    1. Three (3) years of that experience must have been in business systems analysis and design.
  2. Within the last 12 years, a minimum three (3) years FTE experience providing business/requirement analysis support for Software as a Service (SaaS) development project(s) each with a total contract value of at least $5,000,000. using a custom development environment involving the following:
    1. Business design and process documentation (e.g. use Cases, detailed designs, work-flow diagrams, reference guides, user manuals).
    2. Agile processes and methodology (working with stakeholders to create user stories, prioritize the backlog, execute sprint planning, story planning, and establishing acceptance criteria)
    3. Documenting system issues, and supporting analysis/resolution of business findings
    4. Support business data analysis to answer business questions.
  3. Possession of a Bachelor's degree. Additional qualifying experience in a Business, IT-related or Engineering field may be substituted for the required 4-year education on a year-for-year basis. A copy of the diploma must be provided upon request.

Desirable Experience :

  1. One (1) year of FTE experience working with the California Employment Development Department (EDD) Benefits systems program processes, terminology, regulations, and automated system requirements.
  2. Possession of a Master’s degree. Additional qualifying experience in a Business, IT-related or Engineering field may be substituted for the required 2-year education on a year-for-year basis. A copy of the diploma must be provided upon request.
  3. Possession of a current Salesforce Business Analyst or Salesforce Administrator Certificate.
  4. Two (2) Years of experience working on a Salesforce Project.

The Project Manager’s responsibilities include managing the Contractor’s project deliverables and serving as the primary point of contact for the task completion

Mandatory Experience:

  1. Within the last 12 years, a minimum of Five (5) years of Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) experience as a Project Manager directly responsible for the planning, execution and evaluation of Information Technology (IT) project solution implementation/integration activities including the following Project Management knowledge areas: scope, time, cost, human resource, risk, quality, integration and communication management.
    1. Three (3) years of which were in a lead capacity.
    2. Three (3) years of which were using the Agile project management methodology.
    3. Three (3) years of experience in schedule management and Microsoft Project, risk management, and business process review and gap analysis.
    4. Two (2) years of experience managing at least one Software as a service (SaaS) development project with a total contract value of at least $5,000,000.
  2. Possession of a Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related or Engineering field. Additional qualifying experience in an IT-related or Engineering field may be substituted for the required 4- year education on a year-for-year basis. A copy of the diploma must be provided upon request.
  3. Current and valid Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI).  A copy of the certificate must be provided upon request.
     

Desirable Experience :

  1. Possession of a *Master’s degree in an IT-related or Engineering field. Additional qualifying experience in an IT-related or Engineering field may be substituted for the required 2-year education on a year-for-year basis. A copy of the diploma must be provided upon request.

Scope of Work:

The Recruitment specialist will help facilitate the company's hiring process and support the company’s human resources department with assigned recruitment duties. The ideal candidate will have experience in recruitment specifically with vetting IT resumes, along with deep knowledge of the screening, interviewing, and hiring processes. We’re seeking someone who’s passionate about discovering untapped talent, and helping people develop successful careers.

Responsibilities including but not limited to: 

  • Manage talent acquisition –  Post jobs. Source and screen qualified applicants and resumes. Coordinate the interview process with individuals and hiring team. Gather interview feedback and communicate with applicants during and after the interview process. Maintain the candidate database and handle any relevant data.
  • Strategize – Manage all stages of the recruitment process. Work with hiring team to understand the hiring needs of the organization. Create exciting and useful recruiting tactics to attract top-performing employees. Draft and create job descriptions as needed. Collaborate with hiring managers to understand team needs and facilitate candidate lifecycle processes. 
  • Administrative duties –  Conduct phone screens, schedule interviews, draft questions, and attend recruiting events. Perform other duties as assigned.

Mandatory Experience: 

  1. Must have at least two (2) years of experience as a Recruitment Specialist, Recruiter or similar role
  2. Must have at least one (1) year of experience working with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  3. Experience with standard hiring practices, such as resume review, scheduling interviews and onboarding processes.
  4. Knowledge of sourcing techniques on social media and niche professional websites like LinkedIn. 

Desirable Experience: 

  1. Experience screening IT focused resumes.
  2. Experience working with Google Suite of productivity applications.
  3. Proactive sourcing tactics and substantial initiative. Experience with identifying efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available roles, industry standards, and the needs of the organization
  4. Excellent time management abilities and a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  5. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Scope of Work:

Capio Group is looking for a Software Developer to work as part of a system integration team to provide solution implementation, software licensing and maintenance, and optional post-implementation services for the Client. 
The team will develop and implement a Salesforce solution that will replace the client’s existing thirty-one (31) existing program area applications (primarily Microsoft .NET), which often supports overlapping functions, each with its own interfaces and unique outputs. The solution must eliminate the manual effort to process Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) for a number of program applications while continuing to electronically process the $1.5 billion annually (and 100,000 transactions per year) for the fund  which is currently managed via Oracle E-Business Suite. 
The implementation services include all the work required to prepare, modify, and configure the solution to meet solution requirements including the preparation and loading of data, system testing, applicable training, organizational change management, go-live and post-go-live support.

The Software Developer has overall responsibilities for solution development in alignment with the functional requirements, business needs, and design documentation. Specific tasks including but not limited to:

  • Works under the direction of the Solution Architect and the Project Manager.
  • Develop software for the solution. 
  • Implements quality assurance processes for solution development in alignment with all testing plans.

Mandatory Experience:

  1. Within the  last 15 years, served in a lead role on a complex IT project(s) for five (5) years with a contract value of at least ten-million ($10M) dollars.
  2. Within the  last 15 years,  served in a lead role on a complex IT project(s) with a contract value of at least ten-million ($10M) for two (2) years developing and configuring solutions requiring integration of two (2) or more cloud-based SaaS solutions/modules.
  3. Within the  last 15 years, served in a lead role on a complex IT project(s) with a contract value of at least ten-million ($10M) for two (2) years that involved interfacing with a cloud-based SaaS solution(s) with two (2) or more existing systems.
  4. Within the  last 15 years, served in a lead role on a complex IT project(s) with a contract value of at least ten-million ($10M) for two (2) years developing technical system documentation and providing knowledge transfer support to client IT staff.
  5. Within the  last 15 years, served in a lead role on a complex IT project(s) with a contract value of at least ten-million ($10M) for two (2) years on a Salesforce solution. 
  6. Must be able to provide references for all projects used to meet the Mandatory and Desirable Qualifications.

Desirable Experience :

  1. Within the  last 15 years, served in a lead role on a complex information technology (IT) project(s) with a contract value of at least ten million ($10M) developing financial solutions that interact with the Financial Information System for California (FI$Cal) for one (1) year.

Scope of Work:

Capio Group is looking for a Salesforce Business Analyst to work as part of the team to provide implementation services for the client’s system:

  • Develop the client’s Salesforce Architecture based on the client’s Enterprise Architecture Common Business Processes, Master Data Management, client’s Business Needs, Functional and Non-Functional Requirements, and Interfaces with external client’s program partners.
  • Provide the ability to make changes to one business area/application without causing side-effects to other business areas.
  • Ensure the information/data entered into the system is complete and consistent by implementing and enforcing business rules when any information is captured.
  • Place tighter controls on changes to all information and data within the system through the establishment of a data governance process that approves all changes to the systems’ data.
  • Provide a standardized set of interfaces implemented through a common interface subsystem, where information can be transmitted to external entities, and the interface can be quickly tailored to individual stakeholder needs.
  • Ensure all information is tightly related and all changes to the information are traceable to who made the change, when the change was made, and what change was made.
  • Provide the business with the capability to track a case from initiation through completion that allows the review of related current and historical data from all programs within the client.
  • Provide management with management reporting capabilities to review staff workload, performance, and activities.

  • Provide management with the ability to perform trend analysis on activities and active results to identify high-risk areas where actions, such as increased inspections, could be performed to minimize risks to animal health and food safety.

  • Allow all public program applicants to submit applications and payment through an online service.

  • Allow applicants and business owners to review their data, inspection results, actions underway, etc. online.

     

The Salesforce Business Analyst’s primary duties is to translate what the client’s business needs and how to get this accomplished within the Salesforce solution by asking why and how the client’s stakeholders do their key business processes. In addition, the role of a Salesforce Business Analyst is to gather and/or confirm business needs to prepare User stories, produce "to-be" process maps, and document detailed reasons why something was implemented. Other key activities that this role performs are a gap analysis, preparing user acceptance test plans, and participating in stakeholder communication.

Mandatory Experience:

  1. Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Business Management from an accredited college or university. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the bachelor’s degree on a year-for-year basis. A copy of the diploma must be provided upon request.

    *Four (4) years of experience can be substituted for a bachelor's degree. The substituted experience must be in addition to the required years of experience. Example: If the experience requirement is five (5) years, and the individual is substituting four (4) years of experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree, a total of nine (9) years must be submitted to claim this qualification
    **For degree qualifications, if the degree is not in English, it must be accompanied by a translation performed by a member of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES).

  2. Within the last 7 years, must have a minimum of three (3) years of full-time equivalent (FTE) experience as a Salesforce Business Analyst on a Salesforce implementation project. 

  3. A minimum of one (1) year of FTE experience as a Business Solutions Analyst on a Salesforce Public Sector - Government implementation project.

  4. A minimum of five (5) years of FTE experience as a Salesforce Business Analyst for a Salesforce SaaS implementation, a project budget of at least $10 million, and a project duration of at least two (2) years in Calif. State Government.

  5. Must have certification as a Salesforce Business Analyst. A copy of the certificate must be provided upon request.

  6. Must be able to provide two (2) references for similar services within the last five (5) years. At least one (1) reference must be from experience used to meet Minimum Qualifications and cannot use the same reference more than once.

Desirable Experience :

  1. Must be certified by the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) as a Certified Business Analyst (CBAP). A copy of the active certificate must be provided upon request.

  2. Within the last ten (10) years, a minimum of one (1) year (up to 5 years) of FTE experience implementing Salesforce. The Salesforce application system must be for a state, county or city government with a population greater than 1,000,000 people.

  3. Within the last ten (10) years, a minimum of one (1) year (up to 5 years) of FTE experience implementing Salesforce Public Sector Solutions.

  4. Within the last ten (10) years, a minimum of one (1) year (up to 5 years) of FTE experience of State of CA Technology Implementation project experience.

  5. Within the last ten (10) years, a minimum of one (1) year (up to 5 years) of FTE experience implementing other State & Local Government projects.
