Project Manager
Sacramento, CA

Scope of Work:
Capio Group is looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to perform tasks and activities associated with each project phase and process in alignment with the CDT, Project Management Framework (CA-PMF). The Project Manager will be responsible for the continuation, planning, execution, monitoring, control, and successful completion of the Project Approval Lifecycle (PAL) Process. The Project Manager will manage the planning, execution, controlling, and closing project phases to successfully implement AB 2238. The Project Manager will implement, apply, direct, and recommend best industry project management practices for the client’s project. The Project Manager is expected to implement, execute, apply project management industry best practices to solve conflicts, project risks, and issues in a timely manner, escalating to Client management as appropriate. The Project Manager will lead and manage the Project through PAL Process Stages 2, 3, 4, and through successful implementation and completion of Client’s project.
The Project Manager will be responsible for tasks/deliverables including but not limited to:
- Reporting and Weekly Timesheets
- Project Management
- Agile/Scrum ceremonies and artifacts
- Project Management Gap Analysis
- Create Processes, Procedures, Plans, and Templates
- Perform consultation to develop Testing related artifacts
Mandatory Experience:
- A Bachelor’s degree. A copy of the diploma must be provided upon request. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
- A valid/current Project Management Professional (PMP) certificate from PMI. A copy of the certification must be provided upon request.
- Within the last five (5) years, at least three (3) years of experience working with Agile project management and Agile software development and implementation; including developing sprints; creating themes, epics, user stories, detailed design; in addition, experience subdividing proposed work into logical sprints for the development team.
- Within the last five (5) years, at least three (3) years of experience supporting the requirements of the California Project Approval Lifecycle process PAL Stages 2, 3, and 4 or similar stage gate experience, in support of a complex IT project and a budget exceeding $1.5 million in implementation costs. Please provide the specific details or activities performed for each stage.
- Within the last ten (10) years, at least five (5) years of broad, extensive and increasingly responsible Project Manager project experience applying project management principles, methods, techniques, and tools, with a project duration greater than one (1) year and a budget exceeding $1.5 million in implementation costs.
- Within the last ten (10) years, as a PM, at least three (3) years of that experience must have been in a lead capacity.
Desirable Experience :
- Within the last ten (10) years, at least five (5) years of experience working with Agile project management and Agile software development and implementation; including developing sprints; creating themes, epics, user stories, detailed design; in addition, experience subdividing proposed work into logical sprints for the development team.
- Within the last five (5) years, at least one (1) full cycle (completed stages 2-4 on one project) of experience supporting the requirements of the California Project Approval Lifecycle process including PAL Stages 2, 3, and 4, in support of a large and complex IT project with a duration of at least one (1) year and a budget exceeding $2 million in implementation cost. Please provide the specific details or performed activities for each stage.
- Within the last ten (10) years, at least seven (7) years of broad, extensive and increasingly responsible Project Manager project experience applying project management principles, methods, techniques, and tools with a project duration greater than one (1) year and a budget exceeding $2 million in implementation costs.
- Within the last five (5) years, as a PM, at least one (1) year of that experience may have been in a lead capacity in Scientific Solutions.

Integration Engineer

Capio Group is looking for an experienced Integration Engineer to work as part of a team to provide Information Technology services during the initial planning, design, development, testing, and implementation phases for the client’s Legacy System. The Integration Engineer will function as an extension to the client's resources to perform all tasks within the Technical Team during the development, implementation, maintenance and operations of the client’s solution.
As part of the team, the Integration Engineer will be responsible for tasks including but not limited to:

Scope of Work:
Capio Group is looking for an experienced Technical Lead to work as part of a team to provide maintenance and operational support for the client’s multiple Salesforce Orgs. The team will be responsible for implementing system enhancements, developing new applications, and managing all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle for client’s orgs and their associated applications, including their integrations with other systems or applications.
As part of the team, the Technical Lead will be responsible for tasks including but not limited to:
1. Maintenance and Operations
- Provide ongoing maintenance and operational support for all listed applications.
- Resolve production issues and bugs efficiently.
- Support enhancements and new feature development as needed.

- Support various testing types including system testing, integration testing, heuristics testing, Application Security Assessment (ASA), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Usability Experience (UX), and Customer Experience (CX).
- Investigate and resolve production issues, providing solutions as necessary.
- Gather requirements, design, develop, unit test, plan, prepare, and execute corrective, adaptive, perfective, and enhancement changes.
- Provide test planning, testing strategy, entry and acceptance criteria, test data preparation, environment support, test reports, test scenarios, and scripts for UAT.
- Support provisioning and de-provisioning of users based on customer requests.
- Salesforce Upgrades and Legislative Changes.
- Prepare, plan, facilitate, and update applications as necessary, including regression testing and support for periodic Salesforce upgrades.
- Analyze and implement necessary changes in response to legislative updates within contract constraints.
- Support enhancements to API integrations between applications and other Client systems.
- Develop new APIs as needed based on evolving business requirements and integration needs.
- Provide all document deliverables in electronic form using Microsoft Office tools, as appropriate.
- Submit deliverables established by the Work Authorization process along with the related Work Authorization.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including user guides, training materials, and system operation manuals. Ensure this documentation is regularly updated and accessible to Client’s staff, and provide training on how to use and update these resources.
- Offer on-demand support and training resources, such as recorded webinars, FAQs, and troubleshooting guides, to assist Client’s staff with ongoing questions or issues they may encounter.
- Organize knowledge-sharing sessions where vendor experts and Client’s staff can discuss challenges, share insights, and collaborate on solutions related to system use and development.
- Implement a feedback mechanism to collect input from Client’s staff on training effectiveness and areas for improvement. Use this feedback to refine training programs and ensure they meet staff needs effectively.
- Must have a minimum seven (7) years of Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) experience as a Technical Architect: Direct experience architecting complex IT systems and integrating multiple solutions into a single cohesive architecture.
- Must have experience with large-scale projects: Demonstrated experience in projects with:
a. A minimum of 1,000 users.
b. A minimum of 1 million data records. - Must have a minimum seven (7) years of Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) experience defining and implementing physical and logical technical architectures: Proven ability to design and implement architectures including:
a. High availability infrastructure: Clustering, load balancing, and other strategies to ensure system reliability and uptime.
b. Scalable hosting solutions: Designing systems that can accommodate varying loads and user numbers.
c. Real-time integration technologies: Utilizing technologies and techniques for real-time data integration.
